Tip: Make sure to consider the way you want to divide up your budget before deciding on your venue.
The next step is to choose what is more important, the time of year or the venue. Most popular venues book for a year in advance and only have very select days available, so if you have your heart set on a particular venue its important to be very flexible in time of year or be open minded to other venues.
Tip: According to Brides.com, The peak wedding months are June and September which cause venues to tend to be more expensive, Keep your mind open to a winter wedding. Venues in the winter often tend to be cheaper.
Make sure to select your wedding party far in advance to make sure everyone has there schedules cleared! Be careful when selecting the size of your wedding party, Its important not to have a party of 10 bridesmaids and 10 groomsman if your planning for a small intimate wedding.
Tip: Don't stress if you don't have a perfectly even number of bridesmaids and groomsman. Its your important day and your wedding party is supposed to be made up of your closest friends and siblings, don't add a random person to your wedding party or leave someone out just to even it out.
